How long is the turnaround time on computer service?
On average, our turnaround time is two or three days. This may vary depending on the problem with your machine and the volume of service being performed.
Does Sierra Tech work on Macintosh Machines?
No we do not. We have USB mice and keyboards, but other than that, we provide no service for Macintosh machines.
Does Sierra Tech work on Playstations and/or Xboxes?
No we do not. You must send these to the manufacturer for repair.
Does Sierra Tech sell used computers and/or used computer parts?
No. We are a retail store, and we build and sell new computers right here in Paradise, California. We do not keep old parts to sell to customers.
What brand of computers does Sierra Tech sell?
Sierra Tech sells Sierra Tech brand computers. We do not resell our computers. They are all built right here in Paradise, California.
What brand of computers does Sierra Tech service?
We service any Windows-based machines, including but not limited to Dell, Gateway, Compaq, Sony, eMachines, and HP.
Does Sierra Tech sell laptop computers?
Yes we do. We sell Acer America laptops. Acer is a subsidiary company of Texas Instruments. We have had great success with this brand, and our customers have as well. We generally carry two different models for different needs.
Does Sierra Tech service Monitors?
No. Monitors are extremely dangerous, and expensive to work on. It is generally a better idea to buy a new one (sorry).
Does Sierra Tech service Printers?
We generally do not work on printers. Sometimes we have customers bring their printers in with their tower to be set up on their machine, but that is the extent of our printer work.
What do I need to bring in, when my computer breaks?
All we need from you, unless otherwise specified is your computer tower. We do not need your monitor, printer, mouse, keyboard, or any cables.
Is it possible to rent a computer system from Sierra Tech?
You may rent time on our classroom computers while at Sierra Tech for 20 cents per minute or $10 per hour. You may not, however, rent a machine to take home.

As of right now, you can not pay your bill at Sierra Tech. It is possible to pay your bill over your phone by dialing *PAY# + send. This will generate a text message which will explain just how to do this.
